Film series dedicated to literature
On the occasion of Book Day, the Fundación Tres Culturas presents a film series dedicated to literature. Through film, we will travel through different geographies and traditions, from the Caribbean to Europe and Africa, with the sea as the common thread. This special programme offers a unique look at the relationship between cinema and literature, exploring stories inspired by great works and universal characters.

SynopsisA journey through the territory of Al-Andalus following the dramatic and fascinating story of one of the most powerful men of his time, born with the vocation of a poet, but whose destiny wanted him to administer a kingdom in the 11th century: the poet-king Al-Mu'tamid.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with the film's director.
