Within the framework of the European CARPET project (Craft Art and People Together) the Fundación Tres Culturas (Three Cultures Foundation), in collaboration with Seville City Council’s Triana District, is carrying out an activity in El Turruñuelo-Marifé public park in Triana during the month of May.

For two days, ten artists will be working on a 44-metre long mural to create a collection work of art inspired by popular and local Triana traditions and the artist Marifé.

The artists who are creating the mural are youngsters who live and work in the city of Seville and create very personal works that combine illustration, tattoos, design, painting, drawing, video-art and installations: CRISTINA BENDALA, BRUYER, CHACHOWANCHO, JLR, ANA LANGEHELDT, OPASH, RuMMora, SRGER, SBIMBO and TIMEEK FIAKA.

More information on each of the artists is available in the attached document.

The CARPET project is coordinated by the Fundación Tres Culturas (Three Cultures Foundation) together with partners Creative Kernow in the UK, CREARTE in Portugal and APDN in Morocco. This project has financial backing from the Europa Creativa European programme.
