INTREPIDA appointment with Mafalda Milhões and Alicia Bulubú

The INTREPIDA project organized by Three Cultures Foundation resumes its appointments with Mafalda Milhões . She is in charge of managing the first Portuguese bookshop specialized in children’s literature. It is called O Bichinho de Conto and was opened in 2003.

It is a bookshop on a rural country estate that allows you to live the reading experience in a truly beautiful environment. The bookstore is a large container of cultural activities specialized in children: meetings with authors, story sessions, presentations, specific or continuous training workshops, exhibitions and school activities.   http://www.obichinhodeconto.pt/

Mafalda Milhões, who will be accompanied by the oral narrator Alicia Bulubú, is mainly dedicated to illustration, but she is also editor, bookseller, author and reading mediator.She trained in Graphic Arts in Tomar and she is one of the driving forces behind the O Bichinho de Conto editorial project .In 2014, she was awarded in Spain with the prize Gourmand Award in the Best Illustrated CookBook category with the book Maruxa.


This activity is part of the INTREPIDA project (Intenationalization of Spanish and Portugal Businesswomen towards Integration, Development and Alliances) aimed at promoting the internationalization of companies managed by women in Andalusia, Algarve and Alentejo. The project receives the financial support from the European program INTERREG POCTEP 2014-2020.
