Parallel Views – Iran-Spain: photos in the mirror
Parallel views is the first photo exhibition between Spain and Iran, which poses the need to seek spaces for interchanges and debate involving Spain and the Middle East. The series shown in this exhibition, curated by Zara Fernández and Santiago del Olmo, come from very different phases and years in the careers of each of the photographers, who until the Madrid opening had never met, and whose works dialogue through their internal languages. The photographers are Soledad Córdoba and Shadi Gadirian; Cristina García Rodero and Hengameh Golestan; Amparo Garrido and Rana Javadi; Isabel Muñoz and Gohar Dashti; Mayte Vieta and Ghazaleh Hedayah; and María Zarazúa and Newsha Tavakolian.
Place: Federico García Lorca Centre.
Dates: from 26 April to 27 May.
Times: Tuesdays to Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Closed on Mondays and on Sunday afternoons.
