Roundtable discussion. ‘Syria and the crisis of the refugees. Why now and what to expect?’

In many cases, the treatments which many of the current affairs related to the Mediterranean receive do not allow people neither to know them in a comprehensive way, nor to deep in the issues presented or to understand them in a clear manner. The way in which some of these topics are presented can be in many occasions incomplete and partial since the starting points are stereotypes, prejudices and a great ignorance of the questions themselves which difficult an appropriate and correct approximation to address them in the most objective ways.

In this roundtable, topics such as the current situation of Syria, the causes which are provoking this terrible crisis of refugees, the latest news regarding the Daesh or what can be expected of this situation from now on, will be discussed.
