Summer course: `Cordoba 711-Jerusalem 2019. The Encounter of Jews, Christians and Muslim in the Sephardic World´

from 15/07/2019
to 17/07/2019

The aim of this course is to bring to light the Sephardi Jewish tradition developed in the middle ages in the Iberian Peninsula, analysing the contributions of other traditions to the Judeo-Spanish and vice-versa.

It’s a unique opportunity to discover how the encounter and dialogue between different cultures has enriched Sephardi culture and, at the same time, the Sephardi culture also enriched those of its Christian and Muslim neighbours in the Mediterranean basin.

A magnificent opportunity to study and debate with participants from other countries and of course to learn from academics from institutions such as the University of Seville, the University of Tel-Aviv and the Leo Baeck College of London.
