The Portuguese literature reaches the ‘Tres con libros’ reading club

Thanks to the European project INTREPIDA , the reading club ‘Tres con libros’ goes deep into the best Portuguese literature by the hand of Lídia Jorge.

In addition to the meeting with Lídia Jorge on March 6 at 7:00 p.m., one of the scheduled events for this occasion is the common reading of her work ‘O amor en Lobito Bay’ ,to which the Juan Ramón Jiménez Public Library in Sanlúcar la Mayor and the María Zambrano Documentation Center of the Andalusian Women’s Institute reading clubs have been added.

In ‘O amor en Lobito Bay’, Lídia Jorge shows through nine stories the human being in its pure state: from the earliest childhood with the backdrop of the Portuguese colonial past that the author knows so well, since she was a teacher for four years in Angola and Mozambique.
