The Fundación Tres Culturas’ (Three Cultures Foundation) CARPET Project invites you to take part in a series of encounters focused on how to develop audiences and loyalty among different groups of the public who take part in activities relating to culture and the arts. They take the form of theoretical and practical workshops given by experts as well as encounters with professionals who explain their experiences at the helms of institutions which have managed to increase the number of people who attend the activities they organise.

This third encounter boasts the presence of Héctor del Barrio to deal with topics such as the importance of investigating the typology of attending audiences, data collection and analysis, evaluation of activities and application of audience research to the cultural management of institutions in a systematic way.

Héctor del Barrio has worked in the cultural management field for almost twenty years, developing his work in different areas of the world of culture but always with the public as the target and main driving force of action.

He is responsible for coordinating the Ministry of Culture and Sports’ Permanent Museum Audiences Laboratory, a vital project which may be unique in its approach and development and has become one of the fundamental initiatives of cultural policies in Spain.
