Discover Alentejo offers visitors to the north-eastern Alentejo the opportunity to experience the sensation of places full of history through guided tours, accommodation in local lodgings, gastronomy and wine. In addition to the historical and cultural tours that they organise on the history and culture of Portugal and Spain, they also have holiday flats in Elvas, the “Alcamim houses”. These are newly restored flats in an early 19th-century building in the heart of the historic centre of the city of Elvas. Their concept is based on the promotion of historical guided tours in the region and multi-day programmes that combine heritage, gastronomic experiences and wine tasting with a stay in a privileged location in the historical centre of Elvas.
