LOULITAS

An original proposal from the artist Lourdes Bermejo. With initial training in Fine Arts, she began this personal project focused on fashion in 2005. After receiving the First Prize in the Young Fashion Designers Competition in Castellón, she went to Berlin with a scholarship, and she made her first collection there in 2008. Later she settled in Seville, where she studied theatre costumes at the Escuela de Artes Escénicas. She was selected at the SIMOF (International Flamenco Fashion Week) in Seville, specifically among the young emerging designers, and began to create the Loulitas brand and all that this entailed as a project.

Through Loulitas she considers herself to be a creator and promoter of more than just clothing. Personally, she considers it very important to be able to transmit a love for sustainable textile creation. Many of her garments are characterised by being completely reversible: dresses, skirts, sweatshirts, shirts, etc.

Her pieces have the particularity of being timeless as they are not governed by strict rules dictated each year by fashion, but rather are well-made, durable and beautiful.

Her workshop in the heart of the San Julián neighbourhood in Seville continuously offers interesting courses in different subjects for everyone with an interest in design and dressmaking.
