The Fundación Tres Culturas distributes 1,000 kilos of food among Moroccan affected by the COVID-19 crisis

The Fundación Tres Culturas (Three Cultures Foundation) will be distributing 1,000 kilos of food over the next few days among the Moroccans who currently live in Andalusia, most of whom belong to families which have been severely affected by the COVID-19 crisis, and also temporary workers who have come to the Huelva town of Cartaya (more specifically the Agromartín farm) from Morocco for the red fruit harvest campaign.

The food parcels, which include milk, fruit juice, pasta, legumes, tomatoes, preserves and other basics, have been donated by the MAS Foundation. MAS director Luis Miguel Pons visited the Tres Culturas headquarters this morning to meet this institution’s managing director, José Manuel Cervera. They reached an important agreement which will allow us to help the Moroccan communities in Seville and Huelva, with great involvement of the General Consulate of Morocco in this part of Andalusia.

The distribution, which coincides with the final days of Ramadan, is further proof of the Fundación Tres Culturas’ important campaign to attend to the needs of Moroccans in Andalusia, always carried out in accordance with this country’s Government and in keeping with the very nature of the foundation, which is a Hispano-Moroccan one with a presidency shared by advisor to the King of Morocco André Azoulay and the Junta de Andalucía regional government’s councillor for Presidency, Public Administration and the Interior Elías Bendodo.
