{"id":135519,"date":"2024-03-05T21:01:31","date_gmt":"2024-03-05T19:01:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=135519"},"modified":"2025-03-28T12:24:53","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T10:24:53","slug":"exposicion-colectiva-de-bordado-y-crochet-contemporaneos-en-el-marco-del-proyecto-hands-on","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"http:\/\/tresculturas.org\/en\/actividad\/exposicion-colectiva-de-bordado-y-crochet-contemporaneos-en-el-marco-del-proyecto-hands-on\/","title":{"rendered":"Hands-on Project: Group exhibition of contemporary embroidery and crochet."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas, in collaboration with the City Council of Espartinas, Seville, is organising the exhibition of the results of the Hands-on project, an initiative with European funding, which is one of the proposals selected by the Anna Lindh Foundation to enable mobility between creators from countries such as Spain and Morocco.<\/p>\n<p>This project was led by Nouhaila Mezrhab, a member of the Sal\u00e9 Embroidery School in Morocco, directed by the Fadila El Gadi Foundation, who co-created it in Seville with a selection of people belonging to the Weavers of Muelle de la Sal collective.<\/p>\n<p>The results reveal an interesting and selfless collaboration between people from different generations and backgrounds, who have come together to create together.<\/p>\n<p>#tejedoras del Muelle de la Sal (#tejedoras of the Salt Quay)<\/p>\n<p>Nouhaila Mezrhab has been living in Seville since 18 January thanks to the financial support of the Anna Lindh Foundation, l'\u00c9cole de Broderie de Sal\u00e9 and the Tres Culturas Foundation. In addition to this joint work, Nouhaila is taking silk embroidery classes thanks to the disinterested collaboration of the Asociaci\u00f3n\u00a0<em>Between Shawls and Silk.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Opening on 7 March at 5.30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Casa de las Monjas Cultural Centre. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Federico Leal Casta\u00f1o
