Three years later, the award-winning French-Moroccan author returns to our headquarters to present the long-awaited conclusion to this ambitious literary saga.<\/p>\n<p>With the collaboration of the publisher Cabaret Voltaire, the Foundation is organising the next <strong>Wednesday, 29 April at 19:30<\/strong> the presentation of <em>I will take the fire with me<\/em> (Cabaret Voltaire, 2025), <strong>third and final instalment of the Moroccan trilogy <\/strong><em><strong>The country of the others<\/strong><\/em><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Franco-Moroccan writer, one of the most prominent figures on the current literary scene, will discuss the central themes of her work \u2013 memory, identity, freedom, and intergenerational transmission \u2013 with the Sevillian author Irene Reyes-Noguerol during the event.<\/p>\n<p>At <em>I will take the fire with me<\/em>Slimani culminates an ambitious saga inspired by her family history, which spans from the Morocco of the 1950s to the present day.
