{"id":48764,"date":"2019-02-11T10:39:14","date_gmt":"2019-02-11T10:39:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=48764"},"modified":"2019-02-11T10:39:14","modified_gmt":"2019-02-11T10:39:14","slug":"la-artista-sevillana-pilar-saenz-comienza-su-andadura-en-portugal-en-el-marco-del-proyecto-carpet","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"http:\/\/tresculturas.org\/en\/actividad\/la-artista-sevillana-pilar-saenz-comienza-su-andadura-en-portugal-en-el-marco-del-proyecto-carpet\/","title":{"rendered":"The Sevillian artist Pilar S\u00e1enz begins her career in Portugal within the framework of the CARPET project."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Within the framework of the CARPET project, the Sevillian sculptor and engraver Pilar S\u00e1enz S\u00e1nchez-Dalp is developing an artistic residency in Coimbra and Cerdeira, which gives her the opportunity to make contact with other Portuguese artists.<\/p>\n<p>The experience starts at the centre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cearte.pt\/\">CEARTE<\/a>The next stop was Cerdeira, in the village of artisans in Coimbra. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cerdeirahomeforcreativity.com\/\">Cerdeira Home for Creativity<\/a> can develop collaborations with other creators in sculptural projects with refractory clay, as well as a workshop aimed at children based on the interpretation through watercolour of unique details of the host site.<\/p>\n<p>Pilar S\u00e1enz S\u00e1nchez-Dalp is a sculptor and engraver with a degree in Fine Arts and a degree in Applied Arts. She also holds a master's degree in Museology and a postgraduate degree in Cultural Management.<\/p>\n<p>His work covers four areas: sculpture, furniture, lighting and graphic work. Sculpture moves between the objective and the subjective, between the mathematical and the sensitive. Among his favourite raw materials is rusted iron, with which he develops works full of clean profiles and simple geometry.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout her career, Pilar S\u00e1enz has received numerous awards and recognitions, such as the Honourable Mention at the LXI Autumn Exhibition of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Santa Isabel de Hungr\u00eda in 2012, the Josep Puj\u00f3l Montan\u00e9 Sculpture Prize in Torredembarra (Tarragona) in 2011, the First Prize of the XLVI National Sculpture Exhibition Competition, awarded by the C\u00edrculo de Bellas Artes de Pozoblanco, in 2010, or the First Prize of Contemporary Art Ext\u00e9ril in Oporto (Portugal) in 2008.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pilarsaenz.es\/\">http:\/\/www.pilarsaenz.es\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pilarsaenzescultora\/\">https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pilarsaenzescultora\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The CARPET (Craft Art and People Together) project belongs to the Creative Europe programme and is financially supported by European funds for the development of activities. This initiative, led by the Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas, has other partners such as CEARTE in Portugal, CREATIVE KERNOW in the United Kingdom and APD in
