The Three Cultures Foundation of the Mediterranean collaborates with the Andalusian Literary Centre in the book presentation “When the revolution ends” written by journalist Leila Nachawati next Thursday 9th at 19.30 h. in the headquarters of the Infanta Elena Public Library.
With this first novel, published by Turpial, Nachawati -professor at Carlos III University and columnist in eldiario.es- shows the movement of civil disobedience carried out by a generation of Syrian men and women, in their evolution from the peaceful mobilizations throughout the country defying a dictatorship of decades until the repression and the open war that Syria lives today. (Turpial) The author of the book will be accompanied by the journalist Alejandro Luque. After the presentation, there will be a musical performance by Javier Hang and David Martín.
