The Three Cultures Foundation has joined in celebrating the International Peace Day declared by the United Nations General Assembly by programming a film cycle whose aim is to promote dialogue, coexistence and harmony among people from different societies, respect for their culture and reinforcement of peace ideals among all nations.

It also echoes the campaign “Together for Peace: Respect, Safety & Dignity for All”, which continues the spirit of “TOGETHER”, a global initiative meant to help people who have been forced to flee their homes in search of a better life, so they can live in conditions of respect, safety and dignity.

TOGETHER was launched during the Summit on Refugees and Migrants held on 19 September 2016, gathering the entire United Nations system, the 193 member states, the private sector, civil society, academic institutions and citizens to support diversity, non-discrimination and acceptance of refugees and migrants.
