As part of the activities in the programme “Alqantara: Bridges for Dialogue and Coexistence” that the Three Cultures Foundation has undertaken in collaboration with the Delegated Ministry for Moroccans Resident Abroad and Migration Issues, the Al Founoune theatre company will present its new work in Seville and Torremolinos (Málaga) on the 24th and 25th of November, respectively. It will provide an occasion for the general public, and especially Moroccans, to enjoy a comic work that will be performed entirely in Moroccan dialect.
A distinguished cast of Moroccan actors directed by Anouar El Joundi will perform his new work with the primary aim of promoting dialogue between cultures and making the national cultural identity known to upcoming generations, with a view to narrowing the ties binding both shores.
This new comedy recounts the adventures of Mouhja, a recent graduate of the Fine Arts School of Brussels who decides to return to her homeland Morocco to begin her artistic career and achieve her dream: to become an internationally renowned painter able to exhibit around the world.
The performance venues are the following:
Seville. Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation. Free entry until seating capacity reached.
Torremolinos, Málaga. Congress Palace. Tickets (10 euros) sold at the box office.
