The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation will organise a talk about the Jewish Holocaust by José Cruz, Co-director of the Seminar for the Study of the Holocaust and Anti-Semitism at Pablo de Olavide University. The talk, which will be followed by a debate, will take place at ‘Luis Jiménez de Asúa’ Social Integration Centre and is part of the programme carried out by the Three Cultures Foundation in collaboration with this institution.
Past events include Book Club meetings and talks by specialists and writers like Professor Waleed Saleh, or Varda Fiszbein, Hebrew studies professor and member of ‘Beit Rambam’ Progressive Jewish Community of Andalusia.
This initiative, which started in 2014, also enables inmates to participate in some of the activities organized at the Three Cultures Foundation headquarters such as guided tours, the celebration of the Holocaust Memorial Day, films screenings and book presentations.
The programme aims to highlight the wealth of Mediterranean cultures among this audience while helping to facilitate their social inclusion through a rewarding cultural offer.
