In the programming that the Three Cultures Foundation has been dedicating every month to the cinema of the countries of the Mediterranean and the Middle East for 10 years, although a large number of films stand out, several of them have only been available in our cycle Les Mardis du Cinéma and some others presented in Spain thanks to our initiative.
Unfortunately, in these regions, there are few cases where an example of the dynamism of the film scene is able to reach the commercial circuits. Rarely are films from countries such as Turkey, Egypt, Israel and Iran available in cinemas, and when they are, it is only for a week.
This is why we are programming a series of films, during the month of June, both in cinemas and in terms of recognition at festivals, whose impact and relevance merit a second chance to be shown on the big screen. Films that you probably haven't seen in cinemas, but which you can enjoy here at the Three Cultures Foundation.
