In the framework of the Decade for the Recognition of Descendants of the African Diaspora launched by the UN in 2015, thus promoting global engagement with this community, the Three Cultures Foundation proposes a retrospective dedicated to this theme. On this occasion, we intend to focus on the African migration crisis and to reflect on the critical nature of the interactions and transformations that people of African descent experience in their diaspora, particularly in the European context.
The Three Cultures Foundation continues to demonstrate its commitment to social justice, the promotion of human rights and respect for cultural diversity.

Synopsis
Istanbul a toujours été un lieu de passage pour les marchands et les voyageurs du monde. Aujourd’hui, pour les migrants d’Afrique et du Moyen-Orient, il représente la porte de la terre promise européenne. Les réfugiés syriens et irakiens, une jeunesse cosmopolite à la recherche d’un avenir meilleur déçue par les printemps arabes, les clandestins de l’Afrique noire, tous se rassemblent dans un petit espace plein de vie : les taxiphones, où ils peuvent renouer les contacts avec leur pays d’origine.
