Youth voices: podcasting for participatory democracy' is a project promoted by Ruta Mediterránea, in collaboration with the Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo -both members of the Spanish Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation-, together with the NGO Fundación Dos Bosco.
The project aims to strengthen participatory democracy by involving young people in building a more inclusive and equitable society. In an increasingly interconnected world, where cultural diversity is a reality that enriches our societies, it is essential to ensure that all voices are heard and considered.
To carry out this project, a two-day podcasting workshop will be held where young people will be taught the technical skills needed to produce, record, edit and publish podcasts, including the use of recording equipment and audio editing software. In this way, they will learn how to become producers of small audio formats; they will become familiar with how to make them and how to disseminate them on the web, becoming creators of content related to youth, equality and diversity.
The workshops will be held on 18 and 19 March at the headquarters of the Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo.
