The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation has programmed a series of activities for the month of June, which will be framed under the title\u00a0Ramadan between Cultures<\/em>The event will coincide with the month of Ramadan, which this year runs from 27 May to 25 June.<\/p>\n

As it did last year, the Foundation wants to involve other cultures in this tradition of fasting in order to share and generate links with other groups. In this sense, the activities will be open to the public and representatives of the different religious denominations will be invited.<\/p>\n

On 8 and 22 June we will have the opportunity to break the fast (iftar) with a tasting of the traditional Moroccan food prepared for the occasion. In addition, a full cultural programme will be offered on these two days, in which music will play an important role.<\/p>\n

At the end of the month of fasting, Muslims organise the festival of Aid El Fitr, three days of celebration and union between family and friends. Sweets are the gastronomic protagonists of these days and, for this reason, Tres Culturas will offer a tasting of tea and sweets on 28 June with a special session of the C\u00e1tedra Al-\u00c1ndalus which will end with a concert by the group formed by Emilio Villalba and Sara Marina.<\/p>\n
