{"id":227320,"date":"2025-11-27T10:44:22","date_gmt":"2025-11-27T08:44:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/?p=227320"},"modified":"2026-03-11T14:58:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T12:58:07","slug":"we-love-morocco-tres-culturas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/en\/we-love-morocco-tres-culturas\/","title":{"rendered":"Resounding success of the 'We Love Morocco' programme at the Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"295\" data-end=\"545\">The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation hosted, among other events, the<strong> 17 and 21 November 2025,<\/strong> the Moroccan Crafts Fair, an exceptional event that celebrated the creativity, talent and ancestral heritage of the Kingdom's master craftsmen.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"905\">Organised in the framework of the new <strong>Memorandum of Understanding<\/strong> signed between the Ministry of Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Three Cultures Foundation, this fair was the first major cooperation action aimed at promoting Moroccan craft know-how and strengthening ties between Andalusia and Morocco.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"907\" data-end=\"1338\">For five days, hundreds of visitors enjoyed a <strong>living exhibition of Moroccan art<\/strong> through a careful selection of representative products from different regions of the country, reflecting Morocco's cultural and regional diversity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1340\" data-end=\"2424\">Each piece told a story, the story of a country that has made the art of the hand its identity card. From the meticulous embroidery and wood carving of Thuya to the tapestries of Taznakht and the weavings of Bzou, the public encountered a universe of shapes, colours and textures in dialogue with tradition and innovation. Highlights of the fair included a recreation of the traditional tea ceremony, accompanied by sweets typical of wedding celebrations, as well as a display of zelliges, ceramic mosaics handcrafted piece by piece. Visitors could also browse stalls of handmade pottery, beauty products made from argan oil, contemporary fashion combining traditional with more urban styles, rugs and cushions from different regions, traditional sewing, fair trade certified Berber rugs, traditional jewellery, copper work, henna designs and the winning tapestry of the National Prize for the Best Artisan 2025, among others.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2426\" data-end=\"2866\">The official inauguration took place on Monday 17 November at 6.30 p.m. and was presided over by <strong data-start=\"2519\" data-end=\"2582\">Andr\u00e9 Azoulay, Adviser to His Majesty the King of Morocco<\/strong>, y <strong data-start=\"2586\" data-end=\"2664\">Patricia del Pozo, Regional Minister of Culture and Sport of the Andalusian Regional Government<\/strong>together with the <strong>State Secretary for Crafts of the Kingdom of Morocco<\/strong>and was also attended by the <strong data-start=\"2773\" data-end=\"2865\">Regional Minister of Employment, Training and Self-Employment of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda, Roc\u00edo Blanco<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2868\" data-end=\"3063\">On the same day, the attendees also enjoyed a magnificent<strong> Moroccan kaftan parade<\/strong> which highlighted the majesty and elegance of this emblematic garment of Moroccan culture.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3065\" data-end=\"3599\">On Wednesday, fashion once again took centre stage with a second fashion show which brought together <strong>designers from Morocco and Andalusia<\/strong>The event was attended by Hind Lamtiri, Imane Tadlaoui, Fatima Zahra Khanne, Houda Larini, Leila Hadioui and Yassine Morabite.
