Moroccan gastronomy, due to the fusion it has come to have with other external cultures, has become a rich and varied gastronomy, which is nourished by a double source; on the one hand, it respects tradition, keeping the dishes the authenticity of always, and at the same time, it is a cuisine considered as a fusion of gastronomies from the Middle East, the Mediterranean and a large part of Africa on the basis of Berber, Sephardic and Moorish cuisine. It therefore reflects, in turn, a feeling of openness and acceptance of other peoples and customs.<\/p>\n
Therefore, as part of the Cultural Week dedicated to Morocco, the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation and the Ministry of Moroccans Living Abroad and Migration Affairs are presenting a live cooking show led by the prestigious chefs Myriam Ettahri and Moha Fedal.<\/p>\n
On the one hand, the chef Myriam Etthari, who has reinvented traditional dishes using new ingredients and new culinary techniques, will bring us, through this live cooking show, closer to the Morocco of today: a country in which, as in much of the world, recipes have been passed down from generation to generation. Myriam Etthari represents the new generation of Moroccan women who, through their work, have managed to bring modernity and tradition together and cross borders.<\/p>\n
And then there will be the expert chef Moha Fedal, ambassador of Moroccan cuisine, who has spearheaded a complete revival of his country's cuisine. Throughout his extensive professional career, chef Moha Fedal has given numerous seminars and cooking demonstrations around the world. Cities such as Paris, London and Bangkok have witnessed his wisdom and expertise in the kitchen.<\/p>\n
