Selected from the numerous applications received, the participants are Casa-museo Guadamec\u00ed Omeya, Aart Select, Plata Cordobesa and C\u00f3rdoba Luxury Experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg V-A Spain-Portugal Programme (POCTEP) 2014-2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Three Cultures Foundation and its partners in the Halal Market project are participating in the International Tourism Fair -ITB-, which is being held virtually from 9 to 12 March.<\/p>\n

This project action offers the possibility for four companies to participate in the ITB Berlin (Internationale Tourismus-B\u00f6rse Berlin), the largest tourism fair in the world, where companies such as hotels, tourist offices, tour operators, airlines, car rental agencies and a long list of companies in the tourism sector are represented.<\/p>\n

Due to the global health crisis, this edition will not be held in person, but in a virtual format. The four participating companies will have free access to all the activities programmed in the different virtual spaces and formats and will also be able to exhibit their products and services to the rest of the participants.<\/p>\n

Participating companies include the Guadamec\u00ed Umayyad House Museum.<\/strong> A unique space in the world, as it shows the recovery of the original Umayyad techniques of working on leather for use as decoration. Its founders, artists who researched the caliphal and sumptuary techniques used in 10th century Cordoba, bring together in this particular house-museum a large collection of pieces made from guadamec\u00ed as well as the workshop, in which both artists show visitors their mastery of this technique.<\/p>\n

Aart select <\/strong>\u00a0is a specialised tourism and cultural management company from Seville, with an attractive interdisciplinary approach, in which professionalism, personalisation, trust and care make the difference, with a way of understanding the tourist experience that goes beyond passive visual consumption, offering exclusive and select tailor-made services.<\/p>\n

Cordovan Silver<\/strong>a company dedicated to the design and manufacture of typical Cordovan filigree jewellery, also offers original and special experiences in which visitors can learn first-hand about the process of creating these small handcrafted pieces. The workshops are the perfect pretext to learn about the history of Cordoba through filigree, one of the oldest goldsmithing techniques in existence, which was introduced in the city during the time of the Caliphate.<\/p>\n

C\u00f3rdoba Luxury Experience<\/strong>is specialised in luxury cultural, business and food and wine tourism experiences in Cordoba and its province. Based on a business concept that seeks to unite tourism, art and culture in a sustainable and respectful way, both for the spaces themselves and for the inhabitants of the city and its province, always taking into account the excellence of the experiences lived by the client from the very first moment. slow tourism<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In addition, this International Tourism Fair will serve as the framework for the presentation of the explanatory video about this project<\/a>and has been made available to the public in English, Portuguese and Spanish.<\/p>\n
