{"id":116623,"date":"2022-11-17T11:13:19","date_gmt":"2022-11-17T09:13:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=116623"},"modified":"2022-11-17T11:13:19","modified_gmt":"2022-11-17T09:13:19","slug":"martes-de-cine-noviembre-ciclo-de-cine-marroqui-la-casa-de-campo","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/en\/actividad\/martes-de-cine-noviembre-ciclo-de-cine-marroqui-la-casa-de-campo\/","title":{"rendered":"Tuesday Cinema in November: Moroccan film season: 'La casa de campo'."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Morocco's film industry has always had a thriving exhibition sector, and since the beginning of the 20th century there has been intense film activity thanks to international film shoots that have allowed the construction of film laboratories and studios.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The establishment of the Moroccan Film Centre in <\/strong>\u00a0<strong>1944<\/strong> was the impetus for the creation of the country's film festivals, including the Mediterranean Film Festival, first in Tangier and later in Tetouan, the Rabat National Film Festival, the Marrakech International Film Festival and many others of recognised prestige.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the difficulties,<strong> some Moroccan filmmakers have already established international careers and others are beginning to make a name for themselves.<\/strong>\u00a0in the industry in a country with a great film tradition. His passion for the seventh art is his best seal of presentation and what any spectator who settles in front of the screen to let himself be carried away by the magic of cinema will recognise.<\/p>\n<p>There has also been a significant increase in<strong>\u00a0women filmmakers who try to show what is happening in their home countries<\/strong>with a special interest in the female universe. Cosmopolitan, bilingual and experienced, their names are becoming increasingly important in the industry and their work is internationally recognised.<\/p>\n<p>The new wave of Moroccan filmmakers have become part of a generation that is clear about its goal and strives to achieve it. The millennial history of the Amazigh in Morocco has been largely told, preserved and transmitted orally by bards and storytellers in Tamazight-speaking pastoral communities. The house in the countryside follows this same tradition with audiovisual means and attempts to document and paint a faithful portrait of a people and a community that has not changed in hundreds of
