Cinema and diversity: 'Ibrahim'."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Diversity is considered a fundamental element of cultural heritage on all five continents and, according to UNESCO, \"is as necessary for humankind as biological diversity is for living organisms\".<\/p>\n<p>One of the aims of the Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas is to highlight the value of coexistence and interaction in harmony and mutual respect between different cultures that coincide in the same place and time. For this reason, we are dedicating the month of May to diversity, with a programme of screenings showing different visions of current issues through five films and documentaries from different cultures.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Tuesday, 9 May, 20.30 h.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ibrahim.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Samir Guesmi. France, 2020, 78 min.<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Young Ibrahim lives\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">divided\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">between his father, the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">serious and reserved<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0Ahmed<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">employed at the Roya restaurant<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">l\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Op\u00e9ra<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, y\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Achille,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0his school friend<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0of vocational training, higher<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0than him and a specialist in getting into<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0trouble. E<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">he dream of<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0Ahmed's chances of finding a decent job are shattered<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0when\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">should<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0paying the blame for a robbery committed by his son<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.
