FCMT Awards: `Abdul and Leila'."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas has been present at the Tetouan Mediterranean Film Festival, which celebrated its 29th edition in May, supporting the work that its team has been doing for almost three decades in the promotion of Mediterranean cinema.<\/p>\n<p>In June, the Foundation will give expression to this collaboration with the FCMT by screening the list of winners of the official feature film competition 2024. <a href=\"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/en\/actividad\/cine-en-junio-palmares-de-la-29-edicion-del-festival-de-cine-mediterraneo-de-tetuan\/\">Three days to celebrate the quality and freshness of cinema with a Mediterranean stamp.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/festivaltetouan.org\/\">https:\/\/festivaltetouan.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday 27, 20.30 h.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Abdul and Leila.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Leila Al Bayati. Grand Prix de la Ville de Tetouan.<\/p>\n<p>After suffering amnesia due to an accident, Leila, a young French artist of Iraqi origin, reconstructs her history by reconnecting with her family and delving into her roots. She learns Arabic, interprets the poems of her politically exiled Iraqi father and immerses herself in the history of the Gulf War in Iraq.
