Under the slogan 'For a sustainable future', proposed by the Ministry of Culture, we highlight the key role that libraries play in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Between 17 and 30 October, the Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas has prepared a special programme with activities that promote reading and sustainability, including the presentation of the illustrated book <em>With open arms<\/em> (Kalandraka) and two activities specially designed for the training of library staff, with the aim of equipping them with key tools to face the challenges facing libraries in the 21st century.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, 17 October, at 19.00 h. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Presentation and storytelling in Cartaya<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The presentation of the picture book <em>With open arms<\/em> (Kalandraka) by the author Antonio Rubio, with illustrations by Mar\u00eda Gir\u00f3n, on 17 October at 19.00 h. and in collaboration with the <strong>Cartaya Municipal Public Library.<\/strong> A play that teaches us that diversity, family and friendship have no colour.<\/p>\n<p>The event will include a reading by the Moroccan storyteller Mohammed Hamm\u00fa and will be accompanied by music and a digital exhibition of the illustrations of the work. Finally, those attending will be able to participate with the librarians in an activity of <em>origami<\/em> The event will be held in which paper birds will be created as a symbol of freedom and the absence of frontiers, which can be taken home as a souvenir of the day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Free admission until full capacity is reached. Aimed at family audiences.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Holding of the 2nd Cartuja Campus Library Technical Conferences <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, the Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas and the Instituto Andaluz de Patrimonio Hist\u00f3rico are organising the II Jornadas t\u00e9cnicas de Bibliotecas del Campus de la Cartuja on 30 October.
