{"id":20135,"date":"2016-10-19T11:10:48","date_gmt":"2016-10-19T11:10:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/tresculturas\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=20135"},"modified":"2016-10-19T11:10:48","modified_gmt":"2016-10-19T11:10:48","slug":"tres-libros-analiza-la-hija-extranjera-centro-insercion-social","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/en\/actividad\/tres-libros-analiza-la-hija-extranjera-centro-insercion-social\/","title":{"rendered":"Three with books discusses 'The Foreign Daughter' with the Social Insertion Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Once again this year, with the support of Obra Social \"La Caixa\", the Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas del Mediterr\u00e1neo continues to work with the project\u00a0<strong>Three with books<\/strong>\u00a0in collaboration with the\u00a0<strong>Luis Jim\u00e9nez de As\u00faa'' Social Insertion Centre (CIS)<\/strong>\u00a0of Seville, and we do it again with a work by the Spanish writer of Moroccan origin\u00a0<strong>Najat El Hachmi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We start this season with\u00a0<strong>'<em>The Foreign Daughter'.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>(Destino) where El Hachmi puts us in the shoes of a woman in uncertain terrain: between two nationalities, between two languages, between reality and desire. A work originally written in Catalan that helps us to understand what it is to be 'the other'.<\/p>\n<p>The Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas thus aims to make the cultural wealth of the Mediterranean known to this kind of public, contributing to the<strong>\u00a0social inclusion through an enriching cultural offering<\/strong>. This is a vitally important task in such a depressed and marginalised environment as prisons, where there is a high level of illiteracy and a lack of interest in reading. In this way, a whole new world of interests is opened up to our participants and they are offered, through reading, other points of view from which to conceive their own reality.<\/p>\n<p>Tres con libros' is a project of the cultural agenda of the Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas del Mediterr\u00e1neo that began in 2009 with the aim of working to promote reading, the<strong>\u00a0dissemination of Mediterranean authors<\/strong>\u00a0and the development of initiatives aimed at enriching the cultural heritage through diversity.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, thanks to the donation received by the\u00a0<strong>La Caixa\" Welfare Projects<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0we launched a parallel experience to the Tres con libros reading club at the CIS \"Luis Jim\u00e9nez de As\u00faa'' in Seville. In this way, the Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas continued the social work started in March 2012, when it collaborated in the creation of the\u00a0<strong>Seville I Penitentiary Centre Reading Room<\/strong>The project was supported by a loan of around twenty copies of the book '.<em>The Ashes of Baghdad'.\u00a0<\/em>(Almuzara), a work by Antonio Lozano inspired by the life of Professor Waleed Saleh.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Reading programming<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>-Thursday, 6 October 2016*.<sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Delivery of the copy.
