The Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas is organising a talk-colloquium on the Jewish Holocaust at the Centro de Inserci\u00f3n Social (CIS) Luis Jim\u00e9nez de As\u00faa, given by Professor Jos\u00e9 Cruz, co-director of the Seminar on Holocaust Studies -Shoah- and Antisemitism at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide.<\/p>\n
This proposal is part of the programme that Tres Culturas has been developing since last year in the CIS, which has allowed inmates to participate in various activities of the Foundation such as guided tours, the celebration of Holocaust Remembrance Day, film screenings and book presentations.<\/p>\n
In addition, various events have been organised in this centre, both meetings of the reading club and talks with specialists in certain subjects. Thus, the inmates have held talks with the professor and writer Waleed Saleh, or with Varda Fiszbein, professor of Hebrew studies and member of the Progressive Jewish Community of Andalusia, Beit Rambam.<\/p>\n
The aim is to make the cultural richness of the Mediterranean known to this public, contributing to social integration through an enriching cultural offer.<\/p>\n
