{"id":23185,"date":"2017-08-30T10:10:52","date_gmt":"2017-08-30T10:10:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/tresculturas\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=23185"},"modified":"2017-08-30T10:10:52","modified_gmt":"2017-08-30T10:10:52","slug":"master-relaciones-internacionales-2","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/en\/actividad\/master-relaciones-internacionales-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Master's Degree in International Relations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The 2017-2018 edition of the Master in International Relations, organised by the International University of Andalusia in collaboration with the Pablo de Olavide University and the Three Cultures Foundation, will start in November 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Presentation<\/p>\n<p>The Masters in International Relations are present in the most prestigious universities, both in Europe and the United States, each of them adapting the content of the Masters to the interests of the region in which they are located, although they all share common elements.<\/p>\n<p>The master's degree is\u00a0<strong>blended learning<\/strong>The Master's programme has a face-to-face part, consisting of modules I to IV, and is taught from November to March, in which attendance is required and counts towards the mark obtained in these modules, and during these months the virtual part also takes place, which consists of module V of the Master's programme, and is taught remotely.<\/p>\n<p>The Master in International Relations is a multidisciplinary master's degree that integrates knowledge of International Relations and the study of international society from a historical, economic, legal and socio-cultural perspective, in which international relations are developed.<\/p>\n<p>There are currently two Andalusian universities, Granada and the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville, which offer a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Administration, for which the Master's Degree would be an ideal complement to complete training in the international spheres.<\/p>\n<p>Graduates from degrees such as Political Science and Administration, Humanities, Journalism, Law, Economics, Sociology or Environmental Sciences, among others, are eligible to apply. It is also open to professionals from different professional fields: consular representations in Andalusia, journalists or civil servants from the regional, central or local administration.<\/p>\n<p>Objectives<\/p>\n<p>The Master in International Relations aims to train graduates in diverse academic fields, with a focus on the Mediterranean,\u00a0<em>especially in the Arab world, Latin America and the European Union, Andalusia's three main points of reference for international projection.<\/em>\u00a0This would be preceded by a general section dealing with the basic aspects of International Relations, including its history, sociology, politics, geopolitics, legal system and jurisprudence, economics and general current state, which is particularly important in such a changing and sometimes confusing world as the beginning of the 21st century.<\/p>\n<p>In order to promote the study of International Relations and to offer elements for reflection and understanding of the international context, the\u00a0<em>first objective<\/em>\u00a0is to offer a prestigious Master's degree that can be of use to all those graduates who wish to develop a research and professional career with an international profile or related to external action.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the strengthening of international organisations as actors in world politics, the globalisation of the economy, the creation of supranational blocs, and the consequent independence of states make knowledge of international relations, EU and national institutions, as well as specialised NGOs, increasingly necessary. Therefore, the\u00a0<em>second objective<\/em>\u00a0is to promote the study of International Relations, as a multidisciplinary reference, which acquires great relevance within the current complex panorama, in which globalisation and economic, political and cultural heterogeneity are the main protagonists.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>third objective<\/em>\u00a0is to offer comprehensive training on current international relations in three main areas: Mediterranean and Arab World, Latin America, and European Union, addressing, among other topics, international relations, development cooperation, the evolution of integration processes in Europe and Latin America, as well as the incipient projection of infra-state entities abroad, with special attention to the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.<\/p>\n<p>Timetables<\/p>\n<p>Classes will take place from Monday to Friday afternoons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>International University of Andalusia:\u00a0<\/strong>Module 1 (Introduction Module and The Contemporary International Society) and Module 3 (Ibero-America) are taught.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Three Cultures
