Poet, novelist, scriptwriter, article writer and literary critic. He published his first poems in the early eighties and has published five volumes to date, praised by the specialised critics, including\u00a0The taste of your drunk mouth<\/i>\u00a0(1989),\u00a0Illusions and dreams of 10,000 suitcases<\/i>\u00a0(1996),\u00a0In the bear park<\/i>\u00a0(2001),\u00a0Some ways to forget Genghis Khan<\/i>\u00a0(Valencia Poetry Prize 2004) and\u00a0Tick tock tick tock<\/i>\u00a0(2010), as well as appearing in several anthologies.<\/p>\n
As a novelist, he made his debut in 2008 with the work\u00a0Nobody loves a good man<\/i>which was followed a year later by\u00a0Late, wrong and never<\/i>\u00a0(Brigada 21 Award for the Best First Crime Novel 2010) and in 2012 Don't call home<\/i> (Valencia Negra Prize for Best Novel of the Year). He has just published his new collection of poems entitled Rock and Roll<\/i>.<\/p>\n
He is also a regular contributor to various media and a lyricist, most notably his songs for Alicia Golpea, a group of which he was a member during the first half of the nineties. His work has been translated and published in the United States, Holland, France, Italy and Germany.<\/p>\n
