Pedro Mart\u00ednez Mont\u00e1vez.<\/p>\n<p>Cette Fondation reconna\u00eet son travail remarquable r\u00e9alis\u00e9 dans le domaine des \u00e9tudes arabes, sa contribution au d\u00e9veloppement et promotion du dialogue interculturel et \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation des ponts entre l\u2019Espagne et le monde arabe, ainsi que par sa recherche constante des espaces de dialogue, jugement et libert\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019acte d\u2019hommage est pr\u00e9vu pour le 10 mars \u00e0 18h. et s\u2019ach\u00e8vera avec le concert de flamenco \u00e0 charge de Jos\u00e9 Menese, l\u2019un des personnages indispensables du panorama national du flamenco et un v\u00e9ritable puriste du <em>cante jondo. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Biographie <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pedro Mart\u00ednez Mont\u00e1vez<\/strong> (1933). Il a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 les Ma\u00eetrises d\u2019Histoire et de Philologie S\u00e9mitique et il a obtenu son Doctorat de Philologie, dans le D\u00e9partement d\u2019Arabe et Islam \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Madrid. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 Professeur \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Ayn Shams, \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Caire et \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Complutense de Madrid\u00a0; et charg\u00e9 de Cours \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Sevilla. Actuellement, il est Professeur Em\u00e9rite \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Autonome de Madrid. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 Recteur de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Autonome de Madrid, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 le premier Recteur d\u2019Universit\u00e9 \u00e9lu d\u00e9mocratiquement en Espagne. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 Docteur Honoris Causa de trois Universit\u00e9s\u00a0: Jaen, Alicante y Granada. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019Asociaci\u00f3n Amigos del Pueblo Palestino, de l\u2019Asociaci\u00f3n Amistad Hispano \u00c1rabe, de l\u2019Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Estudios \u00c1rabes et membre d\u2019honneur du C\u00edrculo Intercultural Hispano \u00c1rabe. Il a re\u00e7u plusieurs prix, entre eux, le Prix de la Solidaridad con el Mundo \u00c1rabe d\u00e9cern\u00e9 par l\u2019Asociaci\u00f3n de Periodistas \u00c1rabes en Espa\u00f1a, et le Prix de l\u2019Asociaci\u00f3n Hispano-Palestina &#8216;Jerusalen&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>En 2008 a \u00e9t\u00e9 digne du Prix Sheikh Zayed comme Personnalit\u00e9 Culturelle de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 Abu Dhabi, Emirats Arabes Unis. En 2010 il a re\u00e7u la M\u00e9daille d\u2019Andalousie. En 2014 il a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9 par l\u2019Uni\u00f3n de Escritores palestinos. Actuellement, il contribue \u00e0 cours de plusieurs universit\u00e9s et centres, entre eux, dans la Fondation Trois Cultures, comme enseignant de Master en Relations Internationales programm\u00e9 avec l\u2019UNIA et l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Pablo de Olavide de S\u00e9ville, depuis 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Il est auteur de nombreux ouvrages et articles sur le monde arabe contemporain, sa litt\u00e9rature, sa culture et son histoire, tout en r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissant au pass\u00e9, et notamment la signification de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience andalou. Il a histori\u00e9 la litt\u00e9rature arabe moderne, et il a pr\u00e9par\u00e9 plusieurs anthologies. Il a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des traductions pionni\u00e8res et magnifiques des ouvrages de nombreux po\u00e8tes arabes de premier ordre, comme Nizar Qabbani, Yubr\u00e1n, al-Sayyab,\u00a0 al-Bayati, Adon\u00eds,\u00a0 Fadwa Tuq\u00e1n, Mahmud Darwish, Saadi Yusuf, Salah Abd al-Sabur, entre autres. Entre ses nombreuses publications, soulignent les ouvrages: <em>Introducci\u00f3n a la literatura \u00e1rabe moderna<\/em>\u00a0(1974, 1994),\u00a0<em>Ensayos marginales de arabismo<\/em>\u00a0(1977),\u00a0<em>Exploraciones en literatura neo\u00e1rabe<\/em>\u00a0(1977),\u00a0<em>El poema es Filist\u00edn\u00a0<\/em>(Antolog\u00eda, 1980),\u00a0<em>Los \u00e1rabes y el Mediterr\u00e1neo<\/em>(1999),\u00a0<em>Literatura \u00e1rabe de hoy\u00a0<\/em>(1987),\u00a0<em>El reto del islam<\/em>\u00a0(1997),\u00a0<em>Al-Andalus, Espa\u00f1a, en la literatura \u00e1rabe moderna\u00a0<\/em>(1992),\u00a0<em>Mundo \u00c1rabe y cambio de siglo\u00a0<\/em>(2004),\u00a0<em>Pretensiones occidentales, carencias \u00e1rabes<\/em>\u00a0(2008),\u00a0<em>Significado y s\u00edmbolo de Al-Andalus<\/em>(2011). Tout au long de sa carri\u00e8re, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 membre de plusieurs comit\u00e9s scientifiques et culturels et il a contribu\u00e9 aux plusieurs moyens de
