The meeting will bring together academics, experts, political and civil society actors and other stakeholders. <em>stakeholders<\/em> who through their years of study and personal experiences will help to find ways to enrich and encourage collaborative research on Islamic civilisation.<\/p>\n<p>H.E. Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was the person who introduced the principles of Hadhari Islam in Malaysia and held various senior positions in the government such as Minister of Education, Foreign Affairs, Finance and Home Affairs and became Prime Minister of the country.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the main objective of the Hadhari-GN network is to promote the principles of moderation, community service, social welfare and peaceful coexistence through education, which are characteristic of Islamic civilisation, among its various members and externally.<\/p>\n<p>The lectures will be followed by a concert by the Hamid Ajbar Ensemble after which a cocktail reception will be served, courtesy of HE.
