In the framework of the project 'Three Cultures with You', this week the Foundation proposes a virtual visit to the photographic exhibition 'Seeds of the New Morocco'.<\/p>\n
Produced by the Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas del Mediterr\u00e1neo, this exhibition is a visual story that traces the lives of four young Moroccans who moved to Andalusia to continue their academic training.<\/p>\n
Their stories represent effort, personal and professional capacity and a lifestyle not very different from that of many Andalusian citizens. But they also offer a portrait of Moroccan society and a social context of Moroccan-Andalusian immigration that is more in line with reality and far removed from stereotypes.<\/p>\n
Through the images and texts that make up this audiovisual exhibition, the motivations of these students are presented, their aspirations, but also, as happens to many Andalusian students, the nostalgia of being far from home. The journey through the daily life of these people does not forget to look back to their home in Morocco, thus bringing us closer to their origins.<\/p>\n
Taking a closer look at the protagonists of this photographic exhibition, we meet Chamaie. Her two passions, science and art, led her to study building engineering in Granada and a master's degree in interior design. Hamza, on the other hand, decided to study business administration in Malaga in order to be able to work, as he had always wanted to, in his family's company. And Driss and Alae, who took different paths. While the first chose logistics and transport management, the other has sought to learn the keys to marketing and market research. For both of them, the construction of the new ports of Tangiers is an opportunity for the future, and trying to be part of this project is also a dream to pursue for both of them.<\/p>\n
