{"id":67575,"date":"2020-04-10T09:22:18","date_gmt":"2020-04-10T07:22:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=67575"},"modified":"2020-04-10T09:22:18","modified_gmt":"2020-04-10T07:22:18","slug":"el-rincon-del-rawi-nuevo-espacio-de-divulgacion-del-arabe-y-el-hebreo","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/en\/actividad\/el-rincon-del-rawi-nuevo-espacio-de-divulgacion-del-arabe-y-el-hebreo\/","title":{"rendered":"El Rinc\u00f3n del rawi', a new space for the dissemination of Arabic and Hebrew"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In these days of obligatory retirement at home, the Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas maintains the firm intention of continuing to entertain and educate its public with quality content and in the most entertaining way possible.<\/p>\n<p>In this exceptional context, and in the framework of the project <em>Three Cultures With You,\u00a0<\/em>is born <em>Rawi's Corner<\/em>The new section is dedicated to bringing the Arabic and Hebrew languages closer together, not only with the intention of making them known, but also with the fundamental purpose of arousing the public's curiosity in relation to these two languages that are so unknown to the vast majority of people.<\/p>\n<p>We will relate curiosities, anecdotes to discover them and all of this will help us to understand a little more about both languages. The charm of their calligraphy, the usefulness of both languages nowadays (mainly in the business world) or the number of words we use that have their origin in these languages, among other things.<\/p>\n<p>As a tribute to all the health staff, for the splendid work they are doing in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, the Foundation dedicates the first session of the <em>Rawi's Corner<\/em> to one of the great figures of medicine of all times: Avicenna.<\/p>\n<p>You can consult the first issue of this space by downloading the pdf
