Screening of 'The Last Sephardic'."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This film directed by Miguel \u00c1ngel Nieto (Spain, 2009, 82 minutes) will be screened as part of the 'Sepharad in Three Cultures' cycle.<\/p>\n<p><em style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The last Sephardic <\/em>tells the story of Rabbi Eliezer Papo, who, in search of a language, Ladino, and a people, the Sephardim, embarks on a fascinating journey through Jerusalem, Istanbul, Salonika, Split, Sarajevo, Cura\u00e7ao and Toledo, recovering old songs, ancient tales, dramatic experiences and beautiful words that have survived for more than five centuries in the memory of the Sephardim.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Defined by the director himself as \"a journey through a culture and a language on the verge of extinction\", this film has been one of his documentaries with the greatest repercussions both with the public and with national and international critics: it was selected for the 8th Miami Latino Film Festival, won an award at the World Media Festival in Hamburg, received an award at the 7th San Francisco Latino Film Festival and also won the Golden Globe at the Hamburg Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE SCREENING WILL START AT 21.00.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.es\/e\/entradas-martes-de-cine-proyeccion-de-el-ultimo-sefardi-122311526067\"><b>INVITATIONS SOLD OUT<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT INFORMATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Three types of tickets will be available to users:\n<ul>\n<li>Chair tickets for up to a maximum of two users per application.<\/li>\n<li>Table tickets for up to two users per application.<\/li>\n<li>Table tickets for up to a maximum of four users per application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The ambig\u00fa will open one hour before the start of the film.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To facilitate access to the activities, the holder of a reservation for more than one person must be accompanied by the rest of the members of the group included in the application.
