Screening of 'A portuguesa'."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas, in the framework of its European project <a href=\"https:\/\/tresculturas.org\/en\/intrepida\/\">INTREPIDA plus<\/a>The October screenings are dedicated to the work of several Portuguese female directors. Established creators or young filmmakers who, through their films, offer a feminine vision of Portuguese cinema, and with which we can get to know and appreciate a little more of the recognisable flavour of the culture of the neighbouring country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday 6 October, 20.30 h.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>A Portuguesa<\/em>. Rita Azevedo Gomes. Portugal, 2018, 136 min.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the novel by Robert Musil. In northern Italy, the von Ketten family disputes the forces of the Episcopate of Trent. Herr Ketten seeks marriage in the distant country of Portugal. After returning home from his honeymoon trip, Ketten goes off to war again, leaving his young wife behind.
