At the Fundaci\u00f3n Tres Culturas we know this and we are working towards a space that is open to the future. For this reason, in view of the summer period, our shelves are being filled with new fantastic and everyday stories to bring us closer to the social reality of the Mediterranean countries, so diverse and often so unsuspected. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">From 5 July you can borrow up to 4 books and return them from 1 September. And here are some suggestions for the great voices of Mediterranean literature today: the Greek Theodor Kallifatides, who conquered us with <i>Another life to live<\/i> and now presents <i>The past is not a dream<\/i> (Galaxia Gutenberg). The Palestinian Adania Shibli with her hyper-realistic novel <i>A minor detail<\/i> (Tin Leaf). <i>Three<\/i> (Anagrama), the intelligent crime novel by the Israeli Dror Mishani. The return to Morocco of one of the most outstanding authors in contemporary French literature, Leila Slimani, with <i>The country of the others<\/i> (Cabaret Voltaire). One of the great heirs of European humanism, the tireless traveller Maurice Wiesenthal with <i>La hispanibundia: Spanish family portrait<\/i> (Cliffs). One of today's most potent philosophers, the Croatian Sre\u0107ko Horvat with his <i>Poetry of the future<\/i> (Paid\u00f3s). Or the Spanish artist Paula Bonet with <i>The eel <\/i>(Anagrama). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">As a graphic novel we propose <i>Diario de Italia<\/i> (Impedimenta) by David B. We are also fascinated by the illustrated albums by the most renowned author of current Israeli literature, David Grossman, entitled <i>The embrace<\/i> y <i>The sun princess<\/i> (Sexto Piso).
