En el caso de al-Andalus, los arabistas e historiadores destacan la existencia de un corpus escrito inmenso, sin parang\u00f3n en ninguna otra sociedad mediterr\u00e1nea temprana. Este vasto arsenal de manuscritos \u00e1rabes abarca textos de toda \u00edndole, desde cr\u00f3nicas a diccionarios biogr\u00e1ficos, tratados de medicina, agricultura o astrolog\u00eda, compendios legales, conjuntos epistolares, poes\u00eda o formularios notariales.<\/p>\n<p>A lo largo de las numerosas sesiones de la C\u00e1tedra al-Andalus en todos estos a\u00f1os, son muchas las personas que se han interesado por el conocimiento de estas fuentes historiogr\u00e1ficas andalus\u00edes, siendo as\u00ed que la divulgaci\u00f3n sobre las mismas suele estar circunscrita a \u00e1mbitos acad\u00e9micos especializados.<\/p>\n<p>El objetivo de esta sesi\u00f3n de la C\u00e1tedra al-Andalus es, por tanto, ofrecer una aproximaci\u00f3n al conocimiento de estas fuentes de la mano del investigador y arabista <strong>Juan Martos Quesada<\/strong>, autor de uma obra relevante neste campo: <strong><em>Historiograf\u00eda andalus\u00ed. Manual de fuentes \u00e1rabes para la historia de al-Andalus<\/em><\/strong>, publicada por la Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de Estudios Medievales en el a\u00f1o 2022.
