The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation renews its collaboration with Cordoba’s African Cinema Festival (FCAT) in their common endeavour to promote the cinematographic heritage of that continent, contributing to the development of African and Arabic culture and cinema industries and fostering a better understanding among different cultures.

The May programme, devoted to ‘Cinema and diversity’, will include some of the winners of the 12th edition of the Festival, which closed on March 28th, with a selection of films characterized by their diverse origins. Among them stands Salvation Army, screen adaptation of Abdellah Taïa’s homonymous novel (Best Feature Film Prize); Things of the Aimless Wanderer, by Rwandan director Kivu Ruhorahoza (Audience Award and Special Mention of the Jury); the Egyptian movie Decor which won Horreya Fafghaly the Best Actress Prize and the documentary Beats of the Antonov (Best Documentary Feature Award).
