Within the framework of Andalusia Day, honoured every 28th of February, the Fundación Tres Culturas (Three Cultures Foundation) organises a concert by Yunamán, a group from Granada that reveals the universality of flamenco accommodating diverse rhythms from around the world.
Yunamán is a multi-cultural project that unites artists and rhythms from Syria, Palestine, Turkey, Greece and Spain, further enriched by flamenco dancing. The Spanish guitar, the Arabic uod, the classical viola, the transverse flute and the saxophone played in the Turkish manner form part of their creations (with music of their own and versions of others’ music), in which the rhythms of the Mediterranean are always presented from a contemporary angle.
