The INTREPIDA project invites you to discover the insides of businesses, how they were created, their workplaces and their services. Among the dates for the month of March there is an interesting guided visit to the escuela de danza Matilde Coral dance school in the Triana neighbourhood. There, we will hear about the beginnings of the school and visit lessons as they are being given. At the end of the tour, a teacher will show the visitors some basic steps of ‘rumbas’ dancing.

Created in 1970, the school continues to follow the teaching criteria of its founder, Matilde Coral, whose goal has always been to transmit and conserve the Seville school of Andalusian dance, declared an asset of cultural interest in 2012. The school has won awards including the National Teaching Award and is a conservator of the Seville School of Dance.

The costs deriving from this visit are fully covered by the INTREPIDA project, which has financial support from the Interreg POCTEP programme for cross-border cooperation between Spain and Portugal. Places are limited and will be allotted in strict order of inscription through this link.
