The Fundación Tres Culturas (Three Cultures Foundation) collaborates in the organisation of the Men, employment and care session, organised by Cepaim Foundation in Seville and through the NEO programme, financed by the European Social Fund and co-financed by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality.
This initiative, which promotes compensation of gender inequalities and favouring of equal opportunities between men and women, is especially directed at companies, public administrations, social intervention professionals, students and men’s associations for equality.
The NEO Project, within which the session falls, takes a profoundly innovative view, directly aimed at discovering and intervening in reality from the empirical evidence, with the intention of compensating gender inequalities, relying on men as allies and masculinity as an object of intervention, analysis and transformation.
NEO offers a wider vision of what has up until now been understood of the application of the gender perspective in projects of social interest, also incorporating men as a fundamental part of the gender relations system.
The goals are to raise awareness among men of their role as agents of change to promote gender equality; generate political incidence for the implication of men and the design of public policies and broadcast successful experiences of interventions with men from a gender transforming perspective.
Limited places available. Those wishing to attend must sign up before the 14th of March.
