The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation will organize the presentation of ‘Zimma’, the latest book by Ismael Diadié Haïdara, patriarch of the Kati family, president of the Mahmud Kati Foundation and Head Librarian of the Kati of Timbuktu Library Collection. This event will take place at Seville Book Fair.
‘Zimma’, edited by Vaso Roto, is a philosophical tale where Diadié pays tribute to the oral traditions of nomad people in North Africa and the coast of Niger. The main characters in the tales are fantasy creatures, animals or people. They become a tool to transfer life experiences in the way of traditional African masters.

This book presentation will be part of the side cultural activities organised within the CUDEMA 2 project, coinciding with the Cultural Diversity Month.
