The Fundación Tres Culturas (Three Cultures Foundation) and the Collegiate Association of Writers of Spain (ACE) introduce us to Hispano-Maghrebi literature with creators, scholars and professors from Spain, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria.
The ‘The liquid border. Spanish as a bridge for literary encounter between Spain and the Maghreb’ international congress, which is held in various places in Córdoba, is conceived as a meeting place in which to analyse Hispano-Maghrebi literature with an aim to continuing to forge communication links between the inhabitants of both shores based on the Spanish language.
One of the most extraordinary events to develop in the field of contemporary Spanish literature, the birth in northern Africa (Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia) and some sub-Saharan areas (Guinea, Cameroon and Mauritania) of written literature by authors of Maghrebi origins who write directly in Spanish, without translation, will be addressed at this encounter.
