The Fundación Tres Culturas, a regular collaborator of the Tarifa-Tangier African Film Festival, is offering two films from the 2023 edition's list of winners in its June programme.
We congratulate FCAT, an independent film festival that focuses its efforts on the promotion and dissemination of African cinematographies and which, in its 2023 edition, has celebrated 20 years of building bridges between Europe and Africa.

Every Thursday, a group of students at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria's oldest university, organise a film club, transforming a small amphitheatre into a political agora where they can sharpen their eyes and develop a critical voice. The "coconut-headed generation", a derogatory expression for narrow-minded and brainless youth, takes on a whole new meaning as the students turn this stigma on its head to reclaim their freedom of thought.
