Although he is often unemployed, Etienne (Kad Meran) is an endearing actor who runs a theatre workshop in a penitentiary. He brings together an unusual group of inmates to perform Samuel Beckett's famous play 'Waiting for Godot'. When he gets permission to tour outside the prison with his colourful troupe of actors, Etienne is finally given the chance to prosper.
