The Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation is taking part in Gráficas!, a meeting of female comic creators and authors promoted by the Andalusian Centre of Letters, which aims to bring together women protagonists of the medium to publicise their work and to debate and reflect on the profession and the sector.

The meeting will be held from 6 to 9 November in the cities of Malaga, Seville, Cordoba, Granada, as well as travelling to Archidona and Ardales.

In this edition of Gráficas! the contribution of the Fundación Tres Culturas will consist of a round table discussion entitled 'Eating, drawing, loving: Mediterranean voices' with the presence of three Mediterranean authors, María Medem, María Lechuga and María Corredera, moderated by Teresa Pérez. It will take place on 7 November at 6 p.m. in Malaga.

Between the four of them, they will try to unravel the peculiarities of graphic creation made in the Mediterranean. A physical space that for many years has been on the periphery of graphic production, but which has internationally renowned authors who have managed to position themselves among the great figures without losing their authenticity, with their own language impregnated with the Mediterranean spirit.

Gráficas! aims to showcase the talent of today's female comic creators, whether as authors, cartoonists, colourists, translators, critics or researchers. The author of the poster is María Medem, and this second edition has the cooperation of the Diputación de Málaga and the Fundación Tres Culturas, as well as the collaboration of other public and private entities.
